"Father Brian Jordan, second
from left, blesses a cross of steel beams found amidst the rubble
of the World Trade Center by a laborer two days after the collapse
of the twin towers. The cross was from World Trade Tower One,
and was found in World Trade building Six and moved to its present
location Wednesday. Other rescue and construction workers join
Jordan for the ceremony. A protective red mesh hangs on the building
in the background."

"Indeed, an hour is coming
when those who kill you will think that by doing so they are
offering worship to God. And they will do this because they have
not known the Father or me." John: 16:2 NRV
Question: Can you tell me how I can purchase a copy of the
photo of the Ground Zero Cross?
Answer: I have no copies to sell but I have some suggestions.
Contact AP
As I noted above, the only information I have on this photograph
is this: Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001 (AP Photo/Pool, Kathy Willens)
I do not know if AP sells copies of their photographs; perhaps
their website has details on how to do this.
http://www.ap.org/
Usually such an organization charges a huge amount for a print
but I could be wrong. The wire services usually only deal with
other media outlets and not the average citizen. By the way,
I am using it on my site without permission since I thought they
would not mind in this particular case, so do not think I have
some special favor with them. (Or tell them that I am using it.)
Print it out yourself or at a copy shop
Here is the URL or web address for the bigger photo:
http://www.privateline.com/archive/cross.jpg
I think the simplest approach is to print out the image on
a color printer using photographic paper. Results will be good
if you make the print small. The other approach is at the local
copy house. Most copy shops like Kinkos can print images off
the web on their high end color printers. Copy the URL above,
take it to a copy shop connected to the web, and ask them to
print it. It would probably be best as a small print, say a canvas
size of not more than five by seven inches.
Have a photographic service print it
If the home printer or copy shop approach fails then a group
like Shutterfly can take a digital photograph and turn it into
a print:

(external link)
You need to download the file to your hard drive (right click
on the image for a few seconds), then upload the file to Shutterfly.
They would then print it out and mail it to you. The whole process
is pretty well automated.
E-mail me if you are confused with what I have written. Best
regards, Tom Farley
